After you sign up with the service we will schedule/deliver your first delivery of diapers and accessories around 2 weeks before your due date.
If you don’t immediately start using the diapers you will have a 4-week Grace Period to allow for delays in starting the service. During this time, we will not be delivering diapers nor charging your pre-paid week of service.
At any point when you’re ready to activate your service you have to call or email us, and we will schedule your next pickup and delivery. If you have not activated service within 4 weeks after your baby’s due date, your monthly recurring billing will automatically begin the 5th week after the first delivery of diapers.

When your baby is a new born and just eatingbreast milk or formula there’s nothing you need to do with your diaper. Justput it in the diaper pail no matter how nasty it is. Our industrial machinestake care of everything. Once your baby starts to eat solid food and is havingsolid bowel movements we ask that you shake off as much as you can into thetoilet before you put the diaper in the diaper pail. You don’t have to geteverything off the diaper. Remember: you can leave the dirty work for us!
Sun Sprout Cloth Diaper Service will provide you with all the cloth diapers you will need to diaper your baby for the week. We give the average amount of diapers that your baby should need according to their age. But every baby is different, so we’ll be checking in with you to see if you need more or less diapers at no additional cost.
Sun Sprout uses high quality ‘prefold’ cotton diapers. These diapers are easy to use and wash very well so you’ll always get sanitized diapers on your delivery day. They are very thick and absorbent, yet comfy enough to allow complete mobility and they’re comfortable on your baby’s skin. We carry sizes from newborns up to toddlers. We’ll show you simple and effective folding methods at our diapering classes to ensure your success with cloth diapering.
Our prefold diapers require a waterproof cover to keep the wetness contained. Often you can reuse the diaper cover after a diaper change. This is one of the advantages to using the prefold/cover system. We recommend having between five and ten covers on hand if you don’t want to wash too often. In addition to your basic service you can add the starter package
Sun Sprout delivers your clean diapers once a week. On the night before your pick up day we ask you to put your diapers outside your home in a location out of possible rain and direct sunlight. Our drivers pick up your dirty diapers and drop off your new clean diapers between the hours of 5:00 am and 2 pm
Once you start the service the card on file will be charged on a monthly basis. You will be able to update this card anytime through the client’s portal.
Grandmothers, friends, workmates and family love to help out new parents with a contribution towards a gift of a diaper service. All you have to do is fill out our gift registry form or call us to set it up. Your friends and family can contribute a certain amount of money or a certain number of weeks of service.
When you are out of the house we recommend you put your dirty diapers in a wet bag, which is a zippered bag made from 100% breathable polyester with a waterproof urethane coating. If you use a plastic bag for your dirty diapers when you’re out and about be sure to put the diapers in your diaper pail when you get home to avoid molding. The starter package includes 1 wet bag.
Wipes – You can add our cotton flannel wipes to your service for an extra charge. They work much better than disposable wipes and are more sustainable. Also, we wash them with your diapers and send you fresh ones every week. They are quite popular with our clients.
Inserts – You can add cotton/hemp inserts to your service for an extra charge. When your baby is starting to sleep through the night you can add the insert with your prefold diaper to add some extra absorbency. You and your baby will sleep longer! And you can just put them in your diaper pail and we’ll wash them and deliver clean ones every week.
Stripping – For those of you who wash your own cloth diapers at home we offer stripping services to give your diaper stash a deep cleaning. If your stash is looking stained and smelling funky Sun Sprout’s stripping services can bring new life to your diapers. After stripping your diapers will be more absorbent, pH balanced and sanitized. This is a common practice for people inheriting or buying used diapers.
We have a professional laundry process that leaves diapers free of bacteria and soap residues and maintains a neutral pH balance. Our sanitary process includes high temperature washing, efficient rinses and we use professional soap formulas that are not harmful to the environment.
Sun Sprout Diaper Delivery Service is more affordable than disposable diapers. Babies who use cloth diapers potty train on average 6 months to a year sooner than babies that use disposables.In addition to the health and environmental benefits of cloth diapering you can save a lot of money and driving time with our convenient service.
